Today is our last day in the very long, narrow, diverse, earthquakey country of Chile. We’ve been here for 6 weeks now and are ready to move on to our next destination. If not for the food, we will never forget Chile after experiencing an 8.8 earthquake. It was our first and hopefully last.
We learned a lot about the country while we were here – learned a lot of Chilean Spanish, folk music and dance, experienced some unique Chilean food, learned about wine. We took a train through one of Chile’s many wine regions and stopped off at a couple vineyards to learn about wine and, of course, taste wine.
