When we weren’t working or brushing up on our Turkish, we managed to go for some long hikes and take a bus or bike to the beach or a neighboring town. One day we took a bus to Dalyan to bathe in the mud baths, soak in the mineral pools, see some turtles and hang out on the beach. The coastline was beautiful! Situated between the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea, the water was blue-green, clear, cold, and clean.
