The Alhambra is a very special Moorish palace in Granada, which is at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada (the Spanish one). So, the whole experience of driving there and seeing the Sierra Nevada emerge from the horizon, then driving into the little town near the Alhambra was just amazing. All the little unbelievably intricate details on every wall, archway, and ceiling were overwhelming in the best way. The gardens that surrounded the palace were enormous, colorful, and very loved. After seeing it for ourselves, we consider the Alhambra a “must see” in Spain.
